RE: DIRECTOR OF CULTURE & LEISURE BRIDGET McCONNELL

I request the resignation of Mrs Bridget McConnell Director of Culture & Leisure Services on the grounds that she has failed to properly monitor and reasonably respond to the serious community concerns raise in relation to the Chirnsyde Community Initiative in terms of public safety and the appropriate direction of public funding.

In fact in light of the vast media coverage linking this location to serious criminality that is now also easily access on the Internet, the most conrecning title of which reads "Would you let this man look after your children?". I would argue that the majority of right minded people would be reulctant to direct their children towards this location on perception grounds alonse whilst under such controversy. Accpeting this, it would be inappropriate to continue to direct such a level of public funds towards this location as it is clearly failing to be optimally utilised by the public due to the negative perception that without doubt exists not only locally but now also nationally, if not internationally by extension of the internet.

Despite repeatedly raising concerns in relation to this matter the Director of Culture and Leisure Services has failed to address the situation and appears to have totally ignored the public concerns raised. Hence I have now no alternative but to submit this request for the said Directors resignation.
